Free Verse Poetry

I occasionally compose these. Here is one that may be regarded as somewhat controversial here but something to see from another perspective perhaps?

Gardens
A stunted hedge
is further shorn
matching the lawn's
crop/ped
green stubble

A couple pass by
nod approvingly;
their faces then drop
to see nearby
an overgrown garden

Yet this garden
to me
is beauty unseen
- not for most
tall lawn
growing free
feathered grass
sway with grace and
dainty white blooms
adorn the hedges
as they should
naturally
