Can I plant french beans in the same soil as my bean plants used last year or do I need to move them or use fresh soil?

I think ideally, it would be better to rotate your crops around, however, with beans, some people have permanent frames set up for growing beans up. Obviously, these 'permanent' frames dont move around, so beans are sown in the same place every year.

I think it would be a good idea to dig out a trench and throw in something like well rotted horse manure to give the soil a boost before planting/sowing.
