    hello,

I have a querry regarding dwarf bean as this is my first year in london, I am unexperience of climate and beans production in my garden. My french beans(drawf variety) are now 10"-14" in height and are very small. It started flowering, white color today. I am wondering this will effect the plant growth and further beans production. Kindly advice if i need to prune/remove first flower now? so that plant growth is focused now and fruits later.

    thanks in advance
    ooshmi

    Hiya.

10"-14" is pretty much about right for dwarf French Beans to start producing flowers. Your plants are fine, leave the flowers on:blue thumb: Your first beans aren't far away, but if you want some later in the year, it's best to sow another batch sometime soon:blue thumb:

Hi Ooshmi, I'm in London too and my climbing french beans have started flowering too.

Once the beans start producing be sure to pick often, this will encourage further flowering/beans. :blue thumb:
