    Same seed, different location.

The one on the left is from the home plot, which has only just started to crop. The one on the right is from West Bay Plot which has been cropping for weeks:what:

Most of the West Bay ones have been very quick to swell up and go to seed, mostly small gnarled pods, don't know if thats because they were planted too early or if it was the howling wind down there. Home plot is more sheltered from the south westerlies, but not from direct north or south winds.

Both lot had a good amount of organic stuff dug in before planting:scratch:

Mine are just starting to grow now. Really not getting much from the plants I have - but disappointed but putting it down to persistent torrential rain.

    Hi Ziggy.

I can't speak for those, but I have noticed that with my 'runners', after they have been cropping for a while, they aren't as long and slender as compared with the earlier offerings. These are also the ones that tend to be at the top of the plants, exposed to the elements, although I suspect it's the exposure to the sun. Could be totally wrong of course :)

    Cheers...Freddy.

Interesting comparison Ziggy, do any other veggies show a difference?
