Hi, has anybody tried growing French Beans in a greenhouse, mine are not doing very well in the garden because of the weather, but I have heard of people growing them in the greenhouse for shade. What I don't know is wether they can stand the heat in high summer.

I grow them for an early crop, and again (sown around 1st August) for a late Autumn crop. I did trying growing climbing French - that was a disaster of foliage and no beans - they loved the conditions in my greenhouse in Spring!

Dunno about mid-Summer though, might be too hot
