It's us again. We are nine months old today and so pleased that Mommy and Poppy found us in the carrier bag at the rubbish bin just after we were born.

We look a bit demented, but we are ...

I'm Calvos (Cal) named after the village I was found in ... and I am definitely short of a sandwich for a picnic ...

I'm Candida (Candi) named after the bar/cafe I was found in front of ... and I'm a bit more with it than my brother ...

... and we'll just play heads and tails on the railings, after which Cal fell off into a flowerpot below ...

And the best part of our day was that our big brother, Magic Sam who is English and 11, curled up with us today (for the first time) and had an afternoon snooze ... he normally hisses and spits at us but lately started playing with us and today, Friday the 13th, slept with us ... it was great ...

They are not at all demented, just a bit kooky at times and Cal is cheeky into the bargain. But perhaps I am rather partial to them being their aunt, and Boo is Boo and we love him too.

Oh my goodness, what beautiful cats, and what a tear-jerking story! The kitten pics are so sweet! I have two rescued guinea pigs - there's something extra special about our rescued friends, isn't there!

Thank you all for your lovely comments. They are definitely our little miracles.

We are sure Cal is not quite with us all the time (he was almost dead caught up in the corner of the carrier bag when we found them), Candi was almost out of the bag shrieking her head off. Cal teleports himself from deck, to roof to off in the orchards in seconds and can be dashing somewhere and stop in his tracks, look quite puzzled and head off in another direction as if he forgot what he was doing.

Cal almost marches rather than walking gracefully like a cat as if his front legs don't function properly. As he has the one white stripe, Kedi-Gato named him the Corporal when they looked after them last October and we have added to this ... Corporal Calvos Chaos!

They were only a little demented looking above because they were squinting into the sun and Cal was still half asleep in the other photo! [IMG]

Bless them, they bring us such joy.

They look SO healthy and happy LOL - 2 very lucky cats indeed. Great news that Magic Sam has accepted them at last - how could anyone resist those two? Well to you both for rescuing them [IMG] [IMG]

Yesterday, Candi and Cal decided they would join forces and stalk an innocent fly ...

Then Candi thought she'd poke her tongue out at us (she's odd, when you go kissy-kissy to her she tongues you ... ... I hasten to add she learnt this from the French family who handfed them for the first five weeks of their lives) ...

And Cal just decides he'll hide under a lounge chair ...

I have just been out watering the garden because all our torrential rains have not been enough ... and what were these two doing? Running back and forth under the hose ... I jest you not, they are soaked and loving it!

Demented or what, I ask? Love them to pieces ... [IMG] [IMG]
