Odd question but I saw two frogs in my pond with my koi/goldies. I wouldn't have thought they could climb out? Should I fish them out with the net or leave them be and not interfere? I just thought that they needed to be able to climb out.

I'd put a bit of hessian at the edge so they can climb out if they want to :)

Or a pretty arrangement of rocks as tiny steps or ramp, close to long grass or tall plants for cover, in case a cat or bird fancies munching them.

It's a good idea to have an escape route anyway, in case passing hedgehogs stop for a drink and fall in.

Thing is...this pond that was built was for koi....really steep....no sloping edges....like what u get at an aquatics shop. I've got another little pond which is more for wildlife. I think a hog might struggle to climb up the side of it luckily.

I think you need to put a sign up, so they know which one is the Koi pond and which one is the wildlife one.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I built a sloping edge into my pond to let wildlife climb out. You could easily built a wooden ramp to let the Frogs hop on and climb up.:dunno::snorky:
