I have 2 ponds full of frogs toads and spawn.

    Hi guys
My froggies were back just after Valentines Day & most of the spawn has hatched this week. We have had less spawn than normal this year, and quite a bit didn't hatch :cry3:
But I am hopeful, as ever, that we will get a good herd of baby froggies later in the year hopping aroung the garden :D (when the grass doesn't get mown until after I have very carefully raked them all out!!:heehee:

Hi HB, well that just proves you are a tad warmer than us then if yours are hatching already..!! Lucky you.. I am hoping we don't get any more really cold weather now though... Great fun cutting the grass later though as you say with all the froglets about... :D

Haven't seen the frogs but there are 5 clumps of spawn in my pond at work, no sign of Toads but they normally spawn later than the frogs.
