Get a rubber one, attach it to a bit of string and coat it liberally with chilli sauce.

Then drag it in front of the cats, they can't resist trying to catch a moving object even if they know its fake.

Once they get the idea a frog shape makes their mouths burn, they will be less inclined to catch a real one.

My Mum got hold of our 2 cats when she brought 2 guinea (42/-) pigs home & tapped them on the nose, pointing at the guinea pigs saying "NO"

They never touched our ones, in fact they used to play together. But they did bring all the neighbours guinea pigs home dead as offerings:DOH:

Hi Miraflores, I noticed you said "wild" cats and not yours. I presume by that you mean other peoples or stray cats? That being so there isn't much you can do. A frog will normally sit still on the ground if there's a predator near, if it's near water it'll got for that. A cat will go for a frog out of curiosity and part of sport. It is not a tasty morsel for a cat! Unless you can put up a cat-proof fence of some sort around the froggie area then you've got a hard job on. Sorry not to be more helpful.
