This is how it looks at the moment, I've not touched it since we bought the house in dec 2010!!

The whole lot is getting ripped up in about 2weeks time and getting replaced with brindle edged in grey block pavers.

Grass, or shall I say weeds, going, as well as the laurel, buddlea and rose.
No grass, no borders, but some planters with some nice structure in. New wood in replacement of the wood between the brick pillars, painted black, and gates on the driveway, again prob painted black.

The wall to the 2nd pillar is going to widen the access to the drive as even getting the Citroen c4 in is a squeeze!

        thanks nick:blue thumb:

its a decent length drive, narrow, but can get the summer car in and out the garage.

it'll be all block paved, with some planters holding bamboo, fatsia, phormiums etc..... basically to echo the plants in the back garden. the wooden fence between the brick are getting renewed and painted as is the one betwixed us and the left hand neighbour. the access to the drive at the moment between the 2 brick pillars is very tight, any wider really than the c4's, then they wont fit, so thats why were taking the pillar down along with the first run of brick wall to the second brick pillar.

both cars off the road whilst the other stays in the garage until spring. its the last job of the house now, other than the cowels at the chimneys which are getting fitted this week, the blinds on 2 windows have been ordered and the rad in the bathroom will be done by the end of this month, then its all finished!!:phew:
