Frost record.

    I thought it would be interesting to keep a record of our first frosts of the year, for future reference and comparison. so when you get your first frost please post in here: 1)the date (the morning not the night). 2) your location. 3) Any damage to crops flowers etc. 4) and if known, the minimum temperature.

      Came close last night, but not quite. Salvia discolor is now under cover at night though.............

            we were down to 4 last night but no frost. its getting close though. my record last year was a week after bonfire night

            Just 2 degrees first thing this morning (30th October), some 'slushy' ice on the car that didn't need scraping but it was there....
