Frost record.

I thought it would be interesting to keep a record of our first frosts of the year, for future reference and comparison. so when you get your first frost please post in here: 1)the date (the morning not the night). 2) your location. 3) Any damage to crops flowers etc. 4) and if known, the minimum temperature.

 

Came close last night, but not quite. Salvia discolor is now under cover at night though.............

 

Do I get to play too, being in Canada

 

Please! At least I'll feel less depressed when I look out the window....................

 

Good point, since we've gone from frost right into snow!!

 

Was 4C on the way to work yesterday, but no frost.
We rarely make it to bonfire night without one.

4 deg last night and slight frost

 

Down to 4 degrees overnight ,no frost yet... min.6.2 degrees in the GH

Just 2 degrees first thing this morning (30th October), some 'slushy' ice on the car that didn't need scraping but it was there....

 

3°C at 7:30am, frost on car windscreens
