    Any body from lincolnshire on here get a frost last nite?I think we did in lincoln cos my bananas look **** this morning..daz

    Probably. When my son was at university in Cambridge he said the weather was always damp, cold and miserable.

    I was camping out with 450 Scouts, Guides and Cubs this past weekend - and it was freezing - there was ice on the cars. I was colder than I have been when camping in winter! It could well have been a touch of frost that gave your bananas a fright!

    Odd, given that I live not far from there and I'm reliably informed that it's one of the driest parts of the country! Maybe he should emigrate to spain or somewhere!

    It was pretty cold here mid-week, but my garden's pretty sheltered and thankfully none of the plants look any the worse for wear. Hope your bananas recover OK daz and debs.

    I dont think it was anywhere near a frost last night in most parts of the country.
