Fuchsia Buds

Hi,

Most of my Fuchsais have been kept in the frost free greenhouse over winter and are just starting to break out the first new leaves, though still very small.

However before the leaves really come out they also push out flower buds.

I have been pinching out these buds on the basis its saving their energy for leaf /growth rather than flowers.

They have not yet been repotted or feed, just lightly watered.

Wondered why there are so many buds this year / am I doing something wrong ?
