I would wait now until Spring with your hardy fuchsia if it was mine.

Dont know much about the other two but my guess leave well alone now until spring.

Hope I have been of some help.

your gladioli may need to be brought in if they are not the hardy type.

I lifted and divided my lillies a couple of weeks ago. If you lift them, do not let them dry out, re plant them straight away.

Never heard of Starfighters ??? do you mean Stargazers??

No matter! I guess they are orientals as well.

I lifted mine last week, split them as necessary and immediately re-planted the largest sections (bulbs)

The smaller sections I potted up (about 4/6 per 8" pot) to be grown as container plants next year. I then stored them for the winter in the cold frame.

There is another reason for me using this method an that is; some years I lose plants in my herbaceous border causing unsightly gaps.

To overcome this I dig a hole in the centre of the gap and sink one of these containers in it thus filling the gap/s.

I lift my gladioli corms about 6-8 weeks after flowering leaving the the leaves on.

Next I lay these on a slatted bench in my greenhouse to dry off.

Yesterday I stripped the leaves which pull out quite easily and removed the roots & plate (old corm)a put the new corms in a hessian sack and placed in the bottom of the wardrobe in the spare room where they don't get too warm.

Next April I will get them out remove the husks / skins check the base to see if they are viable and plant them out if conditions allow.

If you are growing for exhibition remove all but one of the embryo shoots otherwise you may get more than one flower per corm.

    I hope this helps
