I have some seeds for Fuchsia procumbens, but am struggling (read "failed") to get any to germinate.
Tried heat, cool and in between. The seeds were fresh mid September.

    Once again, any advice welcome.

    Hi Longk
I have grown F. procumbens but not from seed ..Fresh seed is best ,but I have been told it is best cold stratified for 28 days, then sown and kept at 22/25f..

    Hope this helps

    Dave

Only thing I can add at the moment is Fuchsia seeds need light to germinate. They should be sown on the surface of the compost and not covered.

I have some seed pods on some Encliandra plants and I will be trying to grow these shortly.

      Thank you Bluedun!
Can they be slow, or wait maybe for longer days?

They can be slow to germinate. I put some in a tray about a month ago only one is showing at the moment, they are on a heated sandbed with a propagator on.
