Its our club fuchsia society show this Saturday 19thAugust .
so sad dont think I have any fuchsias i can put on th ebench to help swell the table.

last yea rI lost all my fuchsias, they never came through th ewinter even though I bury them in a trench in my greenhouse and cover with thick horticultural fleece,

sent for new fuchsias this year they were a wee bi tlate in arrivign and then with all this heat we have had blomed early .

As we are going on holiday next week really did not want many as would hav eneeded to get a neighbour to water.

So have enjoyed the pleasure of my fuchsais blooming early.

This the fuchsia called Forget-me-not she has the same logo as Alzehemiers.( Which my Mum had)
There are 3 plants growing in this container grow her for our local hospital where I help as a volunteer in theeir garden.
I have taken her home now to make room for other tubs and take lush cuttings, so I can grow for fundraiser next year.

Rosa do you have any photos of the show?

Pretty fuchsia Scotkat - lovely pink tinge to the blue.

I grow them too, and used to be a member of the Fuchsia Society. After collecting masses and lost all my cuttings on moving - I have now settled for hardy fuchsias and tryphilla's preferring the single and occasional double to the blowsy american ones.

gogs, thought it maybe a long way.
That fushia is lovely, dont know whats happened to mine this year, have had it for 8 years, flowered for me every year, same colour as that one, it has not grown well this year at all, got 2 branches on it and thats it, most unusual.
