fuchsia

    i have got a few different fuchsia plants in my garden but since we have had some frost they all look has if they have died.do i prune them right back.

    If they are hardy Fuchsias they can stay out, if not you need to lift them, put them in a pot (prune the roots to fit, if necessary) and keep in a frost free place for the winter.

    Whilst there are some hardy Fuchsias - I think it is better to assume that anything that you buy is not hardy unless you have specific reason to believe otherwise.

    But even the tender Fuchsias are unlikely to have been harmed by the small amout of frost that we have had so far. So I would agree with Kristen and put them under cover.
