Fuchsia 'Mrs Popple' still in leaf and now growing new foliage considerably, and putting flowers out still.

That means since I got the Fuchsia 2 years ago, this is the first time it had stayed evergreen and has not stopped growing all year..

How lovely stephenprudence, mine had dropped all it's leaves by December both last year and the one before. All of my fuschias have in fact. Keeping everything crossed they all come back to life soon.

L-I-F, mine lost their flowers in January last year... apparently most Fuchsias drop leaves due to drought rather than cold.. so the Fuchsias lose leaves because of genetic reasons, however it's been so wet this year, I think they've been happy to keep them.

Jenny, there's a Hawkshead Fuchsia round the corner and it looks as spritely as it did in summer.. it's a hybrid of magellanica?

No - it's outdoors in a sheltered spot. It's a New Zealand species that blooms in the spring which means that the buds start to form in the autumn.
