I like them, like many other plants - but I don't like any plants more than others. How about you, Gogs?? What kind do you like - the hardy bushes, ones that you put in baskets, or what?? Answer with illustrations please!!! :D :D :D

Yes, Gogs, I love fuchias! Have 3 lovely specimens in the greenhouse at the mo, some super Jumbo ones, with huge blooms, absolutely beautiful. They look just like velvet some of them. Will post some pics soon when my son has reminded me how to do that! Have you any pics of your favs? No doubt your weather is a wee bit warmer down there...I'm 25 miles form John o Groats, and it just gets soooo windy up here. That is why I have kept my plants in the greenhouse at present...also it has been my first use of having a greenhouse this year, and have really enjoyed it. Do you have a large garden?

I love fuschias but am no expert. I'm still getting the hang of keeping them through winter.
I've just started on hardy ones, they're still tiny so I may put them in greenhouse this winter, what do others think?
    I've got:
    Lena
    Alice Hoffman
Variegated pink/green /white with tiny red flower
Variegated with dark pink/ almost black double flower

I like Fuschias and have Alice Hoffman, Tom Thumb as well as trailing Ivy in window boxes. £1 per plant i paid for them. Will they keep coming every year or will they need pulling out at the end of the year?

Both these are hardy fuschias so it depends on the position of your window box and the severity of the winter. The ivy will be OK!
