Fuji Cherry, Prunus incisa Kojo-no-mai (Flight of Butterflys).

This got mentioned on a couple of other threads but it is such a pretty little tree I thought it deserved its own place. I planted it last year and it has come through some really bitter weather this year. Slow growing it can reputedly grow to 2.5m x 2.5m. This one didn't bear fruit last year but it is supposed to have bright red berries

(That little branch at ground level just begs to be layered :D and I intend to do some hardwood cuttings later on)

Gorgeous, Froggy! Agree about that low branch! Really pretty. I think I might find that one makes its way into my garden
