fun chile pepper growing competition

Over at thechileman.org we are inviting entries for our second annual chileman challenge. The variety for 2007 will be the NuMex Big Jim pepper and the winner will be the person who grows the largest pod. While the competition is just a bit of fun, there is thechileman trophy up for grabs, plus some signed copies of Dave DeWitt's books - a must for anyone interested in growing chile peppers!

Competition aside, the big jim variety is a great tasting pepper and excellent for stuffing with rice, cheese, chilli con carne, etc.

Hi tc i saw the simpsons when homer ate the hot chilli, but what sort of chilli was it? myself i don't have the facilities to grow chillies or even peppers

 

I will be growing chillies next year but I dont think I will join Unconcerned's competion.
