    Hello chaps,

I was wondering of someone could offer advice. I found some white frothy stuff on my new climbing rose earlier when I was weeding. I was on one stem so I tied a bit of string round it (to help me remember where it was) and washed it off with a hose. Its in the front garden, but right up against the house so although someone could have spat on it, I think that's quite unlikely.

Is it something I need to worry about? I have NO IDEA about roses and planted 2 this year (to go with the rose bush I have in the front) in april!!

Oh super - so nothing to worry about then! Thanks chaps!

Am sure I will have many, many more questions as the summer arrives, but in the meantime, I'm really excited cos my white climbing rose has flowers on and I haven't killed it yet (touch wood!!!)
