I've just taken cuttings off various fuschia plants that I have in the garden. I did a test one weeks ago and it's taken so well it's given me confidence to do a few.
Should I remove the flowers now or let them die off naturally?

Defo remove the flowers - taking all that extra energy away from root growth

Hi Snowbaby, remove all flowers and buds , they take too much energy when they should be forming new shoots.
Also, pinch out the growing tips, you need them to grow sideshoots otherwise they'll just throw out long straggly shoots with just a couple of flowers on the end.

I presume you've got somewhere to keep them over the Winter as it's too late to plant them out now ( if they're hardy ones ).

This explains what I've done wrong with my trial one!

I have a pop up greenhouse.... will those work for over winter?

Does this go for all fuschia plants or only these little cuttings? I've got about 5 well established fuschia plants (my faves!!)

It depends what they are and where/how they're planted. Do you know their names ?

Which compost did you use? Or, maybe a better question would be, which is the right compost to use for fuschia cuttings?
