Bought this at Tatton park show. It's been happily flowering away in a pot ever since.
What do I do with it now it's starting to get frosty? I was planning to overwinter it in the shed which has a small window, but I was expecting it to have died back by now. It's still covered in buds and flowers.

I think 'Star Wars' is hardy daisybelle. So it's probably alright outside. I haven't got this one but I have a couple described as hardy and they just sit in the border all year.

If this one is in a pot it will probably have to come in to somewhere cool. A hard frost will penetrate through the side of the pot and kill the root system. I usually plant my hardy fuchsias in the ground. The top growth gets killed off and in spring new shoots arise from the base. This year I would bring it in but in future you could plant it out if you wnat to save work.

You have to keep tying them back Paula they are not self clinging.

Cut back your Fuchsia by about 2 thirds to 3 quarters, keep it just moist not wet frost free, next year it shouild come back into growth.

    Climbing Fuchsias
Never seen one sorry just a gimic.

New Fuchsia in a catalogue "Satellite" NO been around since 1973 a sport of "Chang" called "Nettala".

Don't be fooled with all the "new" itroductions some have been arouned for years.

The climbing fuchsia refered to by Paula is called lady boothby sold as a climber and as Bluedun says it is a marketing ploy by T&M not really a climber,it was produced in 1939 and named after the then president of the fuchsia society Lady Boothby,it's just an upright growing fuchsia that has long growing branches it does have nice flowers and is hardy.
