Want a laugh, maybe on the wrong thread, but I ordered a collection of trailing fuschias plug plants, from a company, 2 x named varieties, with 5 free of one sort thrown in, they all arrived 3 wks late, Near death (2 since died)and tiny. So rang comp, got creditted with part credit for 2 plants. Then discovered only one of the named varieties sent with 2 packs of the free ones, = 10 insipid freebees, only not so free. [IMG] rang to explain, eventually after a few emails, got some seeds sent to cover cost of screwed up order.........
only fuschia order not what I expected, Have several hanging baskets to fill with anticipated droopy fuschias, But now that true leaves have grown and even a couple of flowers, I have now discovered I have 2 complete sets of............
    wait for it...............
PHYGELIUS. [IMG] with 4 free? insipid fuschias.
So hanging baskets will remain empty this year. But shrubbery border could become very full by autumn................ :D

Good one, Compostee! What a mess! ;)
I have heard Phygelius referred to as Cape Fuchsia - maybe that's at the back of it.....

Looking at the collection in the comp's plant brochure, I must say, i'm really thankful, there are no yellow ones. Unless the cream version of 'yellow trumpet' is more yellow than the pic............ :D

There's a nice link on my blog - Victoriana Nursery - maybe they can help you out.

I'm not plugging them, am just pleased with my purchases.

I'm not too happy with my first (and only?) order from T&M; ordered 15 of what read to me like Korean chrysanths, the hardy mostly single, nice for cut flower types, about 2 - 3 foot high

    I got:-
5 18" hardy patio types, 5 incurves and 5 decoratives, the order took over 3 weeks to arrive, they are alive but not that good.

I won't even bother to complain, when I rang to enquire about the order after a week, I just got a run around, sounded like an Indian call centre.

    Once bitten twice shy.

Mike I have used T&M for some time the last geraniums I got were well packed rubbish, doing my best to pull them through 2 out of the 12 failed already I have taken pictures as they were when I opened the packages, standards have definitely fallen.
