Hello chums Looking ahead to next year. I guess there are plenty of outlets for obtaining these, but what I'm interested in is an outlet for good quality plants, full of growth. I have a local stockist that shows his at Chelsea, but his plants offered for sale have always been disappointing. Anyone? Cheers...Freddy
I would buy small (rooted cuttings or similar) in Spring and grow them on. Other Fellow gets good comments (although I have seen complaints this year about slow delivery of his Brugs and zero response to emails etc. but he's a small operator, and may be more of a plantsman than a marketeer??) otherfellow.co.uk/index.php
Around here there are a couple of smaller nurseries who offer larger Fuchsia in two litre for about three quid in late spring. Probably worth a look in your area?
Near to us, so not far from you too, is this fuchsia nursery. I hope it is not the unsatisfactory one you mentioned. I've never visited it so no idea about its quality. But if you wish to pay it a visit you are welcome to stop by us for a cup of tea.
