Garden centre to-day.

    Been to the garden centre today,got some stuff for winter hanging baskets.
    Here they are,does anyone know what the grey bushy plant is?I didn't 'till to-day....not sure how hardy it is,the books are contradictory,so fingers crossed. [​IMG]

    Not sure of the name of the grey plant but did remind me on the smell of a curry.

    Roders you have got a nice selection there.

    I would have gone for the curry plant also, but is it a Brassica oleracea 'White Peacock', per chance? [​IMG] If so, they are edible but bitter. :eek:

    Looks like a nice collection and look forward to seeing it planted and progressing through the winter.

    Good Morning Roders I saw this in Dobbies yesterday but did not look at the name.

    I sure that was the plant that had a curry smell when I walked past.

    Give us another clue please.

    Looks like Calocephalus to me, (also known as Leucophyta. The Cushion Bush comes from Australia, and is of borderline hardyness. Very pretty though.
