Better to use yer cutting edge stuff: lead free pencil and acid free paper. The alternatives are lots of work and not much result IMO.

I need to do a propper presentation to h.t.s.b.o. and pretty pictures will sell it better. I on the other hand (who did a drawing office apprenticeship hundreds of years ago) can only draw with straight lines. Which is why I never became a draftsman.
I have a copy of Corel Draw 9 but would have prefered something a bit more lay back.

Hi If you visit www.wildchicken.com they have software for garden design and if you don't want to be bothered with doing the design they will do it for you, this is a good option it save ages of hard work and the design is in a proffesional presentation that looks real good.

Just draw it in straight lines, and give her a nice bunch of flowers, OWG (and maybe some chocolates....)! - That'll do the trick!

IT NEVER HAD A VERY GOOD PRESS.........

But after a couple of years of uploading and looking at it, I now manage to use geoff hamiltons garden design software. Ok the actual design is flat, i have a gradient of 30' e to w and 20' e to n. But i managed to get the complete rather large plot on. It cost about £10. I have tried various software downloaded but to no avail. The best software i had was sierra's 3d garden designer. That was brill. 2d and 3d, and the ability to take a picture of the plot, then build up layers of plants and structures to get the effect of what was to be made. But sadly it got affected by a virus and is no longer available.
I've been using geoffs program for both myself and customers and the result is not as good as i'm used to but, but it works.

Our front garden 14mts x4 mts has grass well more moss should I say.

Pampass grass planted 17yrs ago but would like to leave it as birds use as a swing.

We really want to lift grass incorporate a wave like path maybe with mono blocks easy to maintain as our back garden is large and needs a lot of work.

    I still want my helebores.

Maybe we really should start with a blank canvas and see what we an come up with ,anyone got any free ideas you would like to share with me.
