    Hi Folks
I'm a Horticulture student researching the subject of ecologically friendly garden design. With this in mind, I wonder if any of you would mind taking part in a survey I am carrying out. The questions in full are set out below, but if you would like me to email you a copy, please contact me at [email protected]. Responses can be forwarded to the same address. By TUES 10 JANUARY, please. Please feel free to omit any questions or to expand your answers. Many Thanks, Bayleaf

    Self Directed Project
    Feasibility Study for Autochthonous Garden
    Survey

I am carrying out a study into the feasibility of designing an environmentally friendly, locally sourced garden, with a view to examining the challenges involved, particularly with regards to costs, and sourcing materials (plants & hard landscaping), labour & time. This study is based on the build of a real garden.

This survey is being used to find out your opinions on ââ?¬Å?Environmentally Aware Garden Designââ?¬Â For the terms of this survey, it would mean using as far as possible, locally sourced plants and materials, in modern forms where applicable. Production methods would aim to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

Please return your responses by 10 January 2006 to [email protected] . Your help in completing this questionnaire is much appreciated.

    ¹autochthonous adj.
    indigenous.
(From The Concise Oxford English Dictionary)

Please tick all that apply, or if replying by email you can use the format e.g 1 b 2 c 3 d etc, and expand your answers where you can. All questionnaires are dealt with in the strictest of confidence, the information will not be shared with any other agency.
