Garden Fleece Bargain..

    Anyone looking for some fleece to protect those plants over winter?

    Home Bargains are selling packets in 5m x 1.5m lengths for 99p :thumbsup:

    I just picked two bags up....a lot cheaper than the garden centres...:thumb:

      Do remember though that fleece is only effective whilst the temps are above minus 5, anything colder and the fleeces efficacy is removed.
      I stopped doing it in the end last year because of this.

      I don't disagree, i just lost heart when this region experienced a never heard of minus 12 :(

      I think everywhere was - something :rolleyespink:,I covered the tops of my pots with scrunched up fleece,weighed down with stones .Placed them in the lee of the house.:wallbang: Made sure they drained away well and got Olive tree,Avocado and numerous others through. I did lose my ginger but as long as the roots are protected you can only hope :yay:
