I have a thin long tall clear vase, about 36", don`t ask where it came from, it`s only borrowed.
I think it was on the chelsea afternoon show, someone put an orchid in with a bit of moss into a similar container, little water, sealed the top, cling film ?, to work on a similar basis, was going to try this, first acquire some moss.

I have one in the house dating from 1980 but I'm getting a bit bored of it now.
Mine is a six-sided vertical glass container made specifically for the job.
A guest accidentally watered it once many years ago but apart from that it's had no water or fertilizer.
