garden loppers

    i use loppers quite a lot.......... both for soft and hardwoods...... i m looking at the BAHCO by- pass loppers or the wilkinson sword mediun gear action loppers ....... has any1 any experience of these of others ...... �£30 is about my budget and i would prefer comfort grips handles.........
    the best ones i have used to date were ratchet with a name that began cap [remainder obscured]..... any1 seen these?

    I would say, as with most tools, buy the best you can afford. Try in your circumstance to get pofessional tools as opposed to the cheaper ones on the market which are aimed at the casual user.
    I know from my experience that sometimes there seems to be a large price difference, but usually once you use them, you can see why.

    i got a bargain on ebay ... top Q wilkinson sword stuff for well... lets say �£30 for shears, loppers, spade , secateurs and hands shears...... about �£130 quids worth ... i hope there not stolen!
