        A very addictive app:rolleyespink:. Basically anything you are interested in or would like information on, it's there. I'm sure others will describe it more accurately :)

          I love it. The more you follow it the more it tunes in to your particular interests. A lot of the links area just photos but at least they are good for getting ideas. I use mine for mainly food and gardens.

            Constantly getting notifications for chicken coops, decluttering, "life hacks", handmade christmas goodies or treats.. I've banned myself for the time being. It sucks you in for hours looking at things you can make or do :redface:

                It could be described at a Pin board/notice board style of website. When you sign up to it, it has tick boxes where tick topics of interest to you. Then, the webpage opens with lots of pictures/info graphics which all link to either someone else's Pinterest "board", or another website/article/forum/gallery all depending on where the source was.
                You can create any number of "boards" and you decide if they are open to the public or just for your own private record.
                For example: I joined Pinterest and created my own private pin board for saving any pins which interested me to do with small garden ideas. So, when I visit pinterest, if I see a pin on my main page which relates to small garden ideas, I will "Save" that pin to my small garden ideas board.
                Eventually, you end up with a variety of pins on your board which you can either use for inspiration or information or, and, for me this can be quite useful, as a means of bookmarking an article/website.

                Think I've described it reasonably well. No doubt if I've missed anything or given the wrong information some one will kindly add/amend :thumbsup:

                    STAY AWAY FROM PINTEREST :yikes::yikes::yikes:

                    It is absolutely fascinating, and makes you feel like you could turn your hand to anything. It is jam-packed with awesome ideas and imaginative ways of doing things..... imagine building drawers into your stairs, or baking a multi-coloured cake :hapydancsmil:??!!

                    BUT, like others have said, it will suck you in and eat up years of your life if you let it, years spent dreaming of and planning what you are just about to go and do.... once you have had another 5 minutes browsing! I treat it the same way a recovering alcoholic must feel about communion wine.....

                      @"M" that is a very good description of it!

                      It's often accompanied by photos making (whatever it is!) look amazing, with instructions on how to do it. Crafting, cake-making, creative things.

                      Of late, there have been a lot of "I saw this on Pinterest..." things whereby people attempt the idea and completely fail.

                      Some of these ones are brilliant for how bad they went!

                      The 34 most hilarious Pinterest fails ever. These people totally nailed it!
