    Hi

Ive just purchased a new house and im just starting to tidy up the garden to get it ready for spring etc.

The garden is long and fairly narrow, so im trying to avoid just sticking slabs straight up the middle.

Has anyone got any idea's or pics of winding paths etc. Id like to avoid just using gravel etc

    any help much appreciated

    thanks

In our back garden, which has a long and narrow section, we've built out borders to make a curving shape, have put a pond near the bottom of the garden, with a wildlife area beyond, and have a stepping-stone path set in the grass to give access from the patio / monoblocked area to the cottage garden, behind the picket fence, and the seating area at the pond.

We used a type of slab which is in keeping, colour-wise with the house itself, and also has a rough surface, to make it less slippy.

    Hope that helps.
