    Hi All.
I am sure I have read about this before but cannot find where so...

What bag gave you purchased to carry your garden hand tools around? I have got a leather one I used to use for hammers, screwdrivers and the like. It is ok but too stiff and not really what I am looking for. Basics I carry are 2 secaturs, large & small, trowel, fork, string, plant ties. Knife.
Crumbs that does not sound much, I am sure it is more than that!! Anyway had a look on web for bag and there seems to be trillions of bags which some are for builders tools but advertised for the garden.
I prefer the ones round the wasist and perhaps canvas with Loads of room.
So what tool bags are you using and recommend.
    Thank you

Hi Trogre , there are lots of tool belts on Ebay . If you are carrying sharp pointed tools
like secateurs and snips you will need one with closed pocket holsters on it, otherwise you may stab your self in the leg when you bend down.
I use a tool tote tray for all my main usage DIY tools . All the big DIY sheds will sell ones similar to this.

This is Mrs A-A's tool basket - originally a wine carrying basket with six compartments. You might get hold of a strong supermarket wine bag which would probably do the job.

I have a green bucket with a lid which is also sturdy enough to use as a seat.
I bought it in a garden centre years ago but they cannot have been a success as I no longer see them.
Lid has compartments built in for small items.
Like trogre I too like to be prepared, secateurs, bags, 2 stroke oil, tools, gloves twine, strimmer line etc.

I put everything I need in my wheelbarrow, including fork and spade as I'm bound to find something that needs digging out, or prunings to be moved elsewhere. :)

Now theres a good idea...............I just run back and forwards from the shed to collect the different tools, but generally its just a small hand fork, a kneeling mat & a small bucket for the rubbish :)

Thanks for the input. Her indoors said she would buy me a pink trolley, that is out.Cannot really see me with an ex wine basket in the crook of my arm although it is an excellent idea.Wheelbarrow is ok but not so mobile as you have to push it around and I am bound to walk off without the wheelbarrow!!

Overall I think the tote tray will be a good one as you can hold more in it and as you pointed out do not stab myself in leg with anything sharp. In town Wednesday so will have a look for one or if not fleebay.
            Thanks
            Peter
