Birminghamâ??s popular and unrivalled city gardening show Gardenersâ?? Weekend will once again contain a feast of fun for people who love the stunning floral displays, prize-winning fruit and vegetables, and a fantastic array of plants and equipment to browse through and buy. Key attractions include the authentic taste of Italy from Mamma Miaâ??s Italian Market, the Credit Munch garden, winner of a silver gilt at both the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Gardenersâ?? World Live, the floral marquee, the Societies and Allotments Marquee and an amazing Matthew Boulton floral display.

There is also plenty of family entertainment with a childrenâ??s play area, bouncy castles, face painting and donkey rides. The award-winning traditional jazz band Zenith Hot Stompers will be roaming the event as well and thereâ??ll be displays from West Midlandsâ?? Woodcarvers.

This is a good show as far, although its a couple of years since I visited. In fact it was a photo taken at that very show that lead me to this forum requesting an ID!!!!

Plenty of stall, show gardens etc and unlike a lot of other shows, the car parking price is (or was anyway) included in the ticket price. There are free buses shuttling to and from the show ground although its not that far a walk. It is mainly outdoors, other than the marquees, so be prepared if it raining. Its also mainly on grass so can get muddy under foot if it rains. I think its much better value for money than gardeners world live which I have also visited a couple of times. Kings Heath park is in an estate but getting in and out wasn't a problem either. Enjoy it if you do go!!
