This Friday they are starting a feature on GW about greenhouses, I only half caught the announcement on last weeks show as I was on the phone at the time.

From what I could gather they have bought a second hand 8ft x 6ft and plan to use it to grow veg in it to eventually fill a 30ft garden, did anyone watch the show and can you confirm and or correct me on this?

    Steve...:)

Fri 8.30pm Gardeneres World. Toby Buckland explainds why the greenhouse does not need to be a stark wall of hideous glass in the corner of the garden and Carol Klein looks at bulbs for a gravel garden. << Courtesy of Sky so if its wrong blame them not little old me :)

Well, let`s see if they can build it right-I bet they don`t have expandable spray foam, silicone sealant, duck tape and galvanised wire holding theirs together like mine does:lollol::lollol::lollol::lollol::lollol::lollol:

If you want a laugh you need to come round mine for a drink and have a gander.

Toby Buckland seems fine to me. I guess the series is aimed at new gardeners, and there's nothing wrong with that. Cheap and cheerful goes down well with lots of folks.

I'd never heard of Toby Buckland before but I liked his presentation style, and he does seem to know what he's talking about. Cheap & cheerful is right up my street, and seems like a good idea if it encourages people to get into growing their own food - especially given the current credit crunch climate :)
