    hello!

I'm new to gardening, and have 3 plants: tulips, hydrangea, and climbing roses. Unfortunately the tulips and hydrangea look like they're not going to survive :( but if there is a way to save them I want to! I have taken pictures of the soil and would really appreciate some help! I don't know what is wrong. I know that the green things are greenfly and have sprayed them with soapy water and removed them with cotton buds, but I don't know what the white bugs are or the mouldy spots are...

Do you know how I can rescue my plants and prevent these things from happening again?

I thought they were dying because of lack of water so I have watered them A LOT. They are on my balcony which is North facing and behind glass...

    What do I dooooo???

Just a guess Rhea but don't water for a while...the likes of Hydrangea...are quite tough leave them to it for a while and see how it goes:thumbsup: i'm by no means an expert but i think the weather has a lot to answer for...if you can try getting them into the ground....is there drainage in the pots?

    Welcome to GC :sign0016:

As they are in containers, have you changed the compost/re-potted them or even fed them at any point?

It looks (to my highly untrained and novice eye) that the compost is a little mouldy and compacted. Might be worth while re-potting them and giving them a good feed - but before you do anything its best to wait for one of the experts to come and give you their opinion.
