Gardens in and around Dartington

    I am going to be staying just outside of Dartington this weekend.
    Does anyone know of any gardens in that area that I can visit.

    Is that Dartington in Devon? (Come to think of it, I don't know of another!)

    If so, you'll be very close to RHS Rosemoor - a lovely place which is well worth a visit:-

    Hi Shobhna you have to visit Dartington Hall Gardens then the Japanese garden was fantastic when I went there..
    Bicton Gardens was another, but I think the best is Burrow Farm Gardens Axminster.. I know not so close, but it is just wonderful.. I will even give you a link for that one I thought it was so great.. http://www.gardens-guide.com/gardenpages/_0012.htm

    thanks. made a note of all. I have the camera batteries fully charged and ready. I certainly hope to get to at least one of the recommended gardens. I will report back !!
    I am meeting a friend. We need to put the world torights and celebrate her birthday a bit early. There's 3 bottles of bubbly in my car desperate to be liberated.:luv:
    I have 1/2 day off so will be on the road soon. Can't wait...
