Garlic lifted

    I'm sure I had a thread on this years garlic but I can't find it... :th scifD36:

    It was a french purple type and looks to have put in a decent effort despite the persistent rust I seem to have had over the last few years. I think I'll grow in pots next year to give the soil a rest.

    One oddity - the stems started growing new bulbs part way up. Never had that before, anyone else??

    Get them every year on my Germidour softneck garlic.

      They looked so odd! Is it a sign of a disease or other problem or just one of those things?

      Don't worry, it's perfectley 'normal', if that's what you can call reproduction without sex. Pips from a previous Germidour crop
