    Hi :)

Can I ask, with planting garlic do I plant the whole bulb or split into cloves?

I ask because I bought some which tells me on the packet to plant the whole bulb with just the tips showing above the soil..but looking on the net everywhere seems to say to plant the cloves seperately and about an inch below ground?

Thank you very much for helping!

Plant the cloves seperately and each individual will grow into a bulb.

Ideally it should be planted late autumn, but it will be ok now, just later.

:thumb: Yes as Pam says, plant the individual cloves & each will give you one nice big bulb of garlic to each clove planted now, later in the year.. This Autumn plant cloves again & you will have a large bulbs to split next year.. !!
