I planted my garlic out last autumn and am just wondering when they are likely to be ready to dig up.

I've just had some leek seedlings delivered and am trying to think of somewhere to make space for them.

hi, i'm after the same advice. i "think" (not convinced i'm right) that once the leaves have turned yellow and start to wither they should be lifted and dried out, much the same as onions.

someone should be able to corret me if i'm wrong. Please!!!!

Yes when the leaves wither. Don't follow garlic with leeks. They are both in the onion family.

Guess I could move my courgette and squash plants to the garlic bed and put the leeks where they used to be. The leaves on the garlic are beginning to go yellow now. Thanks for the help.
