I'm bringing my darling Portuguese niece (always spelt incorrectly by me) back up as she/he is lovely and I found her motherless 15 years ago next door to our apartment.

My dear Sis and hubby came down to overlap a holiday with us and took her/him back to Germany with them ... a three day drive in the car ... when there were borders! :eek: :eek:

Gato couldn't have had better parents than she/he has, who love her/him dearly.

 

Just out of curiosity, is Gato a boy or girl?

Gato is a girl.

We had only had boys up until we got Gato and so were used to saying "he". Even after 15 years we are still saying "he".
