    Hi,
I am new to this site and new to gardening, i have got a new house and in the middle of the garden project. I am building a gazebo for a hot tub and was looking at possibly using a natural source for roofing. I wondered about thathing it but its very expensive and just wondered if anyone had any ideas, i wondered if something like the willow garden fence screens could be used or anything like that.
    Cheers lee

If the roof is heavily pitched it will be ok. it lasts for around three years before it needs replacing but do it double thicknes.

Close boards also work well and look natural, Ill post a pic of closeboard roofing later. other choice would be shingles.

I could not possibly comment until I have sampled said hot tub :)
I prefer roofless, so you can see the stars ...ahhh :)
