GC's Stretched!

Having done a complete computer overhaul, I've now got a very 'stretched' GC and I'm scrolling quite a length from top to bottom. Also I have more of the sky background either side of the site. One goes with the other I suppose, but can this problem be solved please.

 

Has that done anything Sheal?

 

I have loads of sky either side, dont know how to get rid of it.
Just guessing GC dont like wide screen

 

No sorry Ziggy, still the same.

 

There should be 2 inches of Sky either side & 9 & half inches of GC in the middle.

Ziggy are you messing with me. I've now got birdie wallpaper and an orange GC!

3 inches either side and about 8 1/2 of GC in the middle.

Just joking, but I've got a 17 inch screen, does that make a difference.

 

Definitely not on mobile, not with a screen that size.

Thanks. You haven't done much for the screen sizing though, perhaps a torch would be best.

Am I the only person who struggles to read GC on that 100% view (that doesn't fill the width of a 15.6" screen) and needs to increase it to 125% to read (especially quoted) text and get rid of loads sky - reduces to 0.8" either side.



This forum seems to be unique in the way it displays with different zoom levels as others maintain the same width of 'background' and display lots more text/posts when decreasing it, but GC mainly displays more 'sky' and very little additional content.
