Geezers poker questions :)

Yo all!
Geezer has had a red hot poker now for a couple of years. Can anyone tell me why it hasn't poked yet, and when poking is likely to occur? It is in light shade for most of the day. Should I move it into a sunny spot? Thanks in advance. I am not very knowledgeable, so any help will be appreciated Cheers.

 

Welcome to GC Geezer! Pokers like full sun and it will be more inclined to flower if it's in the ground.

 

Well I can certainly move it to a sunnier slab
As for sticking it in the earth, Hmmm, I would need to find somewhere suitable.
