Starting to feel out of my depth. Every day the garden/crops are changing. Struggling to keep up and research what I should be doing. So I have a few questions. Please answer you can. Everything is in pots, containers, raised beds, grow bags or sacks.

Courgettes - need support or should be left to sprawl?

Melon - been distracted and really should have reported them into something bigger. I now have a couple of flowers, can I still repot? Need to find something big enough but ok for my dining room. Plan to keep melons inside.

Beets, onions, spring onion, carrots - how do I know they are ready to pull up?

I am sure I have more questions. But feeling a tad overwhelmed with it all. Overwhelmed in a good but frantic way.

Bed time in a few mins I think.

    Leave to sprawl.

Yes, pot on before it gets any bigger.

The first three will be obvious, you will see the size of them above ground - it's up to you what size you want - generally things taste nicer when they are smaller - micro-veg are all the rage these days. Carrots you can generally see the size of them as the shoulder will be at soil level, so gently brush away a bit of soil to gauge the size. Or try pulling up one just to test, if it's too small then wait another couple of weeks.

      Thank you again. Night

Cucamelon. Knew there was another burning issue.

Just one plant. Currently supporting with stakes. Very wispy and lanky. Looks well. Buds just forming. Again needs more space than the small pot in my dining room. Ideas on where to grow it, to repot it, to continue staking it?
