Generic Artemis

    hi all, i have mcafee security through bt server and a scan has come up from macafee saying they detected generic artemis potential harmful does anyone know what this is and should i get rid of it off my pc through macafee security

    hi woo thanks shall i run that software is it part of my macafee security, i didnt know whether to run it or not

    woo i just clicked on my macafee and it states its updated and no action required strange that isnt it unless they automatically took that artemis off the system

    Hi Borrowers ,Thank you, but I think that Macafee probably done the Job its self,we will wait and see:) (This is only a Possibility)
    Artemis is new technology introduced by McAfee last year,
    I believe its a new heuristic scan? heuristic scan is a scan that looks for unknown Trojans/Viruses, So the (generic artemis) detected (may) well be a false positive being detected by McAfee :)
