    Hi All

Hardy geranium Rozanne is one of the best I have grown just for how long it blooms which is months plus is a good compact size

Orion is as good as rozanne . More of a large loose mound shape than a scrambler, similar colour. Can't say on Brookside , I think Azure blue has some sort of relation with rozanne . I like the magenta colour ones like Anne folkland flowers its socks off as well .

To me Brookside is a grow up and fall over plant rather than a sprawler like Rozanne. It's a hybrid of pratense I think and behaves like it for me

I wouldn't be without G. sanguineum striatum or the bright pink version. Both terrific ground cover plants in sun or shade. G. magnificum is lovely but doesn't flower for long.

The sterile hybrids flower for longest - Rozanne, Orion & Patricia are the ones I know about, but there are probably others around by now.

I have Azure Rush, that's a lovely pale blue colour. Not sure on the etiquette of posting links to nurseries, but Ballyrobert sell it.
Hope it is OK to mention the name of a supplier, others are available

Is Azure Rush one of the sterile hybrids, @AnniD ? And if so, does it stay compact, or is it a sprawler like Rozanne?

It's a sport from Rozanne @Liriodendron , so l assume it's sterile but l couldn't say for sure. It's compact in my garden

It’s a bit taller, and only flowers the once, but I really like Mrs Kendall Clark. It’s a much lighter colour so gives a bit of variety. I noticed Monty was planting it on this weeks GW so I am in good company ;)

I have Azure Rush. Lovely plant. Stays nicely compact and flowers till Nov down here. Slightly tricky to get going from a cutting - patience required there! :) But, other than that, perfect, and does very well in a pot. It is not too keen on afternoon sun unless in a reliably damp spot. Definitely my favourite hardy geranium.

Brookside is lovely while it’s flowering, but in my garden it only flowers once

Geranium 'Eureka Blue', which is similar to Orion and Brookside, flowers into October..
