A cracking geranium Rosie, I might try it next year in the town planters or baskets.

Some of the pelargoniums which survived staying out all winter, there are a few ivy leafed varieties yet to come out.

Love your Fireworks Rosietu and your filled red ones and the candy-striped ones Mike. Your lonely little one is a lonely lovely in a beautiful colour. What are the yellow flowers behind the red pelogoniums please?

Sorry KG can't answer that one but if you do find out let me know, it probably came from Homebase. I always seem to lose the labels.
The candy stripe and the one above it are both ivy leaf trailers, but we tied them up to the trellis and they seem to like it.

I love Geraniums in whatever form they arrive at my feet ... I had over fifty varieties in Bucks and I miss them so much.

Funnily enough, only certain ones like it here ... like the giants which go to 4-5 foot tall with virtually no water. All the ones I love, the trailing and species don't like the heat and sun. I've only got so much shade ...

Oh, DorsetMike, such beautiful Geraniums - my most favourite plant of all time. I used to have many in my English garden years ago - even an almost black one (cannot remember the proper name). I had big ones and small ones and every one was a beauty - but here the choice is very limited.

    I do envy you. [IMG]

We had a black trailing one that lasted for years. Of course we had to bring it into the Wintergarten during the winter and cut it back a lot. Unfortunately, one year it just decided to give up and that was it. We bought it in the DDR, after the fall and the borders were open, and have never found it since, mores the pity.

Mike, I'm now thinking that the flower shape of the pretty yellow one looks familiar, can't say about the leaves though. Did someone perhaps recently post a pic of it or something similar here, like in What's looking good in ....?

Two more of the ivy leaf ones, a little the worse for rain.
